REPAVE THE ROAD. -------**-------0-0-------*-*------------------ *WHY 4TH STREET?* As a road that is already used by cyclists crossing east-west between Hoover/Vermont and La Brea, 4th Street represents an important opportunity for the City of Los Angeles to rise to the challenge of creating better, safer streets. With some minor tweaks to the current infrastructure and some sort of signage system, 4th street could indeed be called a "Bicycle Boulevard." The actions taken in this experiment are intended to raise consciousness about the needs of cyclists who bravely face the sometimes mean streets of Los Angeles.
